Calosoft lotion is emollient which is applied topically for protecting skin. Emollients are moisturizers that softens skin and reduces water loss from skin by forming a protective layer. Calosoft lotion has antiseptic, antipruritics (inhibits itching), anti-inflammatory, and moisturizing properties. This skin protecting cream contains calamine, aloe-vera gel and paraffin.
Ingredients of Calosoft lotion
Calamine 8 % w/w, Aloe Vera gel 10 % w/w, liquid paraffin 10 % w/w.
1. Aloe Vera gel is also useful for the skin when applied externally. It can be used topically on the face and other body parts. It has cooling, soothing, moisturizing, anti-aging, anti-wrinkle, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antiseptic activities.
2. Calamine is topical lotion for the skin. prepared by mixing zinc oxide or zinc carbonate with 0.5 % iron oxide. Calamine has mild astringent (shrink or constrict body tissues) and antipruritic (inhibits itching) activities.

How to use Calosoft lotion ?
This is for topical use ONLY. Shake well the bottle. Apply gently on skin. The Calosoft lotion can be used daily. It is safe to use Calosoft on children and in pregnancy.
Note: Do not use Calosoft lotion, if you are allergic to any of the ingredient. Do not use on dry skin patches, open wounds and burns. This should be used under medical supervision.
