About Ingredients

Draksha (big grapes) Vitis vinifera, has nutritious, sweet, laxative, demulcent, hematinic, hemostatic, cooling and expectorant properties. Draksha is indicated in cough, asthma, bronchitis, affections of eyes and throat, Bright’s disease, gout, jaundice, thirst, heat of the body, cough, hoarseness and general debility.

Trikatu is a combination of dry ginger, black pepper and long pepper. It is effective for burning ama (metabolic waste and toxins) which is the prime cause of all disease. It supports better digestion and cures constipation. It stimulates the liver to secrete bile which is vital for fat digestion and absorption. It also balances Kapha.

Dried ginger is called Shunthi. It is pungent in both the initial and post-digestive tastes (rasa and vipaka) and hot in effect (virya). It gives relief in Vata and Kapha and increases pitta. It is carminative, antiemetic and thermogenic. It is useful in indigestion, low appetite, nausea and piles.

Pippali is known as Pippali, Pipal, Long Pepper and Dried Catkins. It is fruits of a plant Piper longum. It is pungent (Katu) in taste, hot in potency and sweet (Madhur Vipak) after digestion. The main organs on which it works are digestive, reproductive and respiratory. It has analgesic, anthelmintic, aphrodisiac, carminative and expectorant properties and is used in the treatment of digestive and respiratory ailments such as gas, bloating, distension, digestive weakness, excess phlegm, asthma, bronchitis, colds, coughs and laryngitis. It is also used in rheumatic pain, gout, paralysis, etc. as it reduces Vata inside the body, gives relief in pain and digests Ama (toxic waste produced in the body to incomplete digestion).

Pippali increases Pitta inside the body. So people of Pitta nature should use it cautiously. Moreover, the long term and excessive use of Pippali is contraindicated in Ayurveda.

Pippali and Shunthi increases Agni (digestive fire) and destroys Ama in the body.

Maricha (Marich) is known as Gol Mirch, Kali Mirch or Black Pepper. It is dried unripe seeds of the plant, Piper nigrum a perennial shrub. It is pungent (Katu) in taste, hot in potency and pungent after digestion (Katu Vipak). It mainly works on digestive, circulatory and respiratory system. It is expectorant, carminative, antipyretic, anthelmintic and antiperiodic. Black Pepper is useful in difficult breathing, chronic indigestion, obesity, sinus congestion, fever, intermittent fever, cold extremities, colic, cooking spice, cholera, gastric ailments, gas, diarrhea, hemorrhoids, worms, sore throat and cough.

Black Pepper should be taken cautiously in High Pitta and digestive inflammations.

Ela / Elaichi (Elettaria cardamomum), is known as lesser cardamom in English. It is cool in potency. It is Tridosh-har, digestive, carminative, nutritive, laxative, and expectorant. It has diuretic action and gives relief in urinary disorders. The seeds are useful in asthma, bronchitis, throat disorders, piles, gas, vomiting, digestive disorders and cough.

The Dosage of Ayurwin Nutrigain

Dissolve 25 grams of granules in 50 ml of hot milk. Stir to dissolve completely. Then add this mixture in 150 ml of hot milk. Add sugar to taste if required. Drink Nutrigain plus after breakfast. For best result, advised 2 serving per day.

Capsules are taken in a dose of 1 or 2 capsule twice a day after the meal with water or milk or as directed by a physician.

Intake of granules and capsules together, helps to bulid muscles.

It should be taken regularly for period of 3-6 months.

Storage
