Short Information about mineral Silicon

Silicon is a mineral which is required in human body for stronger bones and connective tissues. It is a ultra-trace mineral. Mainly, silicon is concentrated in cartilage, tendons, trachea, skin and bones. It is also involved in formation of bones and cartilages. The active involvement of Silicon in formation of connective tissues implies, its deficiency can cause osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, stroke, cardiovascular diseases and high blood pressure. It is also required for better nails, hair and skin health.  Although, it is not clearly established how it work inside the body but silicon is required for keeping bones, connective tissues, hair and skin healthy.
