Shring Bhasma is an Ayurvedic medicine of animal origin. Shring is horn of Deer and is considered tonic that is helpful in treating respiratory disorders. Shring Bhasma is prepared by cutting the pieces of deer horn and then heated as given in ancient text. This is then pulverised to get Shringa Bhasma.
Shringa Bhasma is white odourless powder. It has taste similar to chalk. It contains carbonates, sulphates, chlorides, potassium, calcium, magnesium, tannins and proteins. This is used as single drug as well as in preparation of compound drugs.

The Dosage of Sringa Bhasma
1/2 gram with honey, 3-4 times a day or as directed by a physician.
