Tamalaki (Bhumyamalaki) consists of root, stem, and leaf of Phyllanthus Fraternus Webst. Syn. Phyllanthus niruri Hook. f. non-Linn. (Fam. Euphorbiaceae), an annual herb, 20-60 cm high, found in Central and Southern India extending to Sri Lanka.
