Dashmula Rasayanam Benefits, Ingredients, Dosage

Dashamoola Rasayanam is poly-herbal Ayurvedic medicine which is useful in the treatment of respiratory disorders such as bronchitis, asthma, cough, etc. This medicine is prepared from dashmula or famous ten roots of Ayurveda and various other medicinal herbs. It is nutritious and improves immunity.

This medicine is also spelled as Dasamula Rasayanam, Dashmoola Rasayanam or Rasayana.

Ingredients of Dashmula Rasayanam

Gmelina arborea (kashmari), aegle marmelos (bilva), tribulus terestris (gokshura), sterospermum suaveolens (patala), oroxylum indicum (danduka), solanum indicum (brihathi), solanum surratense (kantakari), desmodium gangeticum (prusniparni), premna mucronata (tarkari), sida rhombifolia (bala), ricinus communis (gandharvahastha), cleirodendrum serratum (yashtika), phyllanthus niruri (bhoodhathri), plumbago zeylanica (chitrak), adathoda beddomei (vasaka), vanda roxburghii (rasna), terminalia chebula ( Haritaki), emblica officinalis (amalaki), terminalia belLerica (vib hitaki), aquilaria agalocha (agaru), cucuma zedoaria (kachora), trichosanthes dioica (padola), zingiber officinale (shunti), piper nigrum (maricha), piper longum (pippali), cuminum cyminum (jeeraka), carum bulbocastanum (shiajira), cinnamomum camphora (karpoora), crocus sativos (kunkuma), Jaggery, Cow ghee

The Dosage of Dashmula Rasayanam

3 to 10 gms with honey thrice a day or as directed by a physician.
