Best Ayurvedic Medicines to Treat Allergic Cough

Allergy is most common thing which can cause several health symptoms and one of the common allergic symptom is cough and related problems like runny nose, sneezing, itching, rashes, swelling, or asthma. These are caused by reactions from our body immune system to allergens. Most common allergens are Pollen, Dust mites, Mold spores, Pet dander, Food, Insect stings, Medicines, etc. These allergies can range from minor to severe.

Chitrak Haritaki Lehyam

Chitarak Haritaki Lehyam contains various medicinal herbs like Plumbago zeylanica, Terminalia chebula, Embelica officinalis, Tinospora cordifolia, etc.which helps to boost body immunity against infections. It very effective medicine to treat chronic cold, cough, bronchitis due to allergies. Take ¼ to ½ teaspoonful (3-6g) twice a day with milk or as directed by the Physician.

Vasarishta

Vasarishta(Vas-arishta) is arishta in ayurveda that is used for condition of cold, cough, asthma, and other chest related problems. Take 15 to 30 ml with an equal quantity of water.

Dekofcyn

Dekofcyne It is also very good for allergic cough. Apart from cough treatment it is also a very good tonic for chronic and wasting diseases, particularly in chest diseases & tuberculosis and provides relief from breathlessness. In Chronic & Resistant Cough:2 tablets thrice a day for 3-4 weeks ( Suitable Chemotherapy to be continued along with Dekofcyn where necessary). In Children:1/2 to 1 tablet, 3 to 4 times a day with honey or water. In Acute & Severe Cough:2 tablets thrice a day for one week.

BAN Crux Syrup

Crux Cough Syrup is one of the best Ayurvedic medicine enriched with Tulsi, Mint, Navsar, Nilgiri Oil, Adusi and Yashtimadhu. It is safe in use as it is non-alcoholic, non-sedative and non-constipating. Adults:2 teaspoonful three times a day Children:½ to 1 teaspoonful 3 times a day Or as directed by the Physician.
