Bavachi Lep Goli is an Ayurvedic preparation form Ayurveda Rashshala. It consists of large tablet of bakuchi for rubbing and for making paste. Bakuchi or Bavachi is very popular herb for treating skin diseases such as psoriasis, leukoderma, and leprosy.
The botanical name of babchi is Psoralea corylifolia and for medicinal purpose the dry seeds of the plant are used. In Ayurveda, Babchi seeds triturated with cow’s urine is used for inducing skin pigmentation that is lost due to some diseases. In Atharva Veda, use of bavachi seeds, adequate sun exposure and worshipping is described for the treatment of vitiligo.
