Dadimashtaka choornam is poly-herbal Ayurvedic medicine. This medicine is indicated in the treatment of digestive system disorders such as diarrhea, impaired digestion, etc. This powder is prepared from pericarp of pomegranate, anar chilka or Dadima (in Sanskrit) with other medicinal herbs. Pomegranate peel has antibacterial properties and useful in stopping loose motions.
Ingredients of dadimashtaka Churna
Pericarp of punica granatum (Pomegranate peel), mesua ferrea (nagakesara), carum roxburghianum (ajamoda), piper longum (pippali), zingiber officinale (shunti), cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum), piper cubeba (kabab chini), sugar, etc.

The Dosage of dadimashtaka Churna
3-5 gm of churna twice or thrice a day with buttermilk or honey one hour before a meal or as directed by a physician.
