Z & D is a Zinc Sulphate formulation from Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories. It is prescribed as an adjuvant along with ORS in the management of acute and persistent diarrhea and zinc deficiency. It is also given to babies for curing zinc deficiency. Zinc supplementation in babies help to reduce incidence of diarrhea, malaria and pneumonia.
Z & D is available in 10 & 20 mg Dispersible orange flavoured Tablets as well as in 10mg/ml & 20mg/ml Dry Syrup for pediatric use.
Each ml or tablet of Z & D -DT 10 contains 10 mg of Zinc Sulphate monohydrate. Similarly, each ml or tablet of Z & D -DT 20 contains 20 mg of Zinc Sulphate monohydrate.
