Renalka is a herbal product from Himalaya Drug Company. This medicine is useful in treating urinary problems such as painful, burning urination, UTI, etc. Renalka medicine has diuretic action.
Renalka syrup contains ingredients that have a beneficial effect in the management of UTI like Varuna, Sariva, Musta, Ushira and Gokshura, Varuna, Kulatha, and Gokshura which are used either as single drug or in compound formulations to manage urinary disorders in ancient classical texts of Ayurveda.

Main Ingredients of Renalka
Each teaspoonful (5ml) of Renalka syrup contains: Exts. Gokshura (Tribulus terrestris) 50mg, Varuna (Crataeva magna Syn. C.nurvala) 50mg, Sariva (Hemidesmus indicus) 50mg, Musta (Cyperus rotundus) 50mg, Ushira (Vetiveria zizanioides)50mg, Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus)50mg, Trikatu 16.50mg, Ela (Elettaria cardamomum) 16.50mg, Pdrs.Kshara parpati 75mg
Renalka is used to treat following urinary problems
- Burning micturition (urination)
- Maintains normal urinary pH balance
- Cystitis (urinary bladder inflammation)
- Dysuria (painful or difficult urination)
- Recurrent urinary tract infection (UTI)
- Hematuria (presence of blood in urine) associated with UTIs
- As an adjuvant to antibiotics in UTIs
The Dosage of Renalka
2 teaspoonful twice a day, before breakfast and after dinner for 2-4 weeks depending on response.
Note: In the case of complicated UTI where patient is not responding to this medicine, after 1 week treatment then appropriate antibiotics should be given after consulting doctor.
